Abstract


On the basis of the archaeological data available, the article examines the evolution of the chora of Neapolis and its uses, between agricultural activities and residential functions. The analysis concerns the period between the reception of the Campanians, as mentioned by Strabo, and the first imperial age in which the author wrote.
