Cerveteri, Necropoli della Banditaccia: nuovi dati sulla sepoltura “presso la tomba delle Cinque Sedie”

Abstract

The discovery of an excavation notebook of Raniero Mengarelli on which was shown the plan of the so-called Tomb above the Tomb of the Five Chairs, it is possible to acquire new elements for the knowledge of the grave goods and the position of each find within the burial in the Tomb of the Five Chairs. The tomb yielded 531 finds listed in another notebook by Raniero Mengarelli, n. XXIX, and a group of which is exhibited at the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia.
