Si dimostra che in Q.S. Posth. V 557 il tràdito ἄξεται andrebbe mantenuto e non corretto in ἵξεται, secondo la proposta avanzata da Rhodomann e accolta da tutti gli editori. Il testo tramandato può essere spiegato come una forma verbale media o passiva.

In this short article, I argue that in Q.S. Posth. V 557 the transmitted ἄξεται should be preserved and not be changed into ἵξεται, as was suggested by Rhodomann and accepted by all editions. The transmitted form can be explained as a middle or passive form.
