Abstract

This article celebrates the academic contributions of Professor Antonio Masi, highlighting his significant role in promoting exchanges between Roman Law and the Chinese Civil Code. It narrates the author’s personal and professional journey influenced by Masi’s scholarship and mentorship, particularly through the collaborative translation of the Chinese Civil Code into Italian. The paper emphasizes how this intercultural and scholarly collaboration not only enhanced legal understanding but also solidified enduring connections between Chinese and Italian legal traditions.
